Martin Mars Water Bomber Engine Start-Up and Run-Up

The Martin JRM Mars water bomber of Coulson Flying Tankers is seen on Kootenay Lake back in 2013 during the summer's wildfire season. This video features the airplanes engine startup, the performance of engine run-ups on the lake and the engine shutdown. Unfortunately I was unable to catch the takeoff.

I figured it was the perfect time to upload the last video I have of this impressive aircraft, as all of B.C. is currently experiencing forest fires and the Mars Bomber may be put back into active service this
season to help fight the provinces forest fires.

The Martin Mars is the worlds largest flying boat ever flown operationally, and it was truly the highlight of my spotting career getting to see this giant aircraft just outside of Nelson, British Columbia.
