About Mr Pinak Ray:

Mr Pinak Ray is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon. He specialises in ankle arthritis and replacement, tendon disorders in foot and ankle, sports injuries including reconstuctions, bunions and forefoot problems and sports knee surgery. He also specialises in sports injuries with a research interest in foot and ankle surgery.

Mr Pinak Ray has worked in medical centres in Sheffield, Leicester and London. He received the MCh degree in 1998 from the University of Liverpool followed by the FRCS in 2002. He also received the Fellowship of the Intercollegiate Board for Trauma and Orthopaedics, FRCS in 2003.

Mr Pinak Ray offers keyhole surgery, with special expertise in ankle arthritis and its treatment. He also deals with adult flat feet and hind foot arthritis. He is one of the few surgeons offering ankle replacement for enstage arthritis. He specialises in sports injuries of the lower limb and regularly deals with achilles tendon surgery, lateral ankle ligaments reconstruction and peroneal tendon reconstruction. Mr Ray has expertise in ankle arthroscopy, arthrodesis and arthroplasty, bunions and forefoot problems, knee surgery, toe joints, sports injuries, key hole surgery, ankle arthritis, adult flat feet and hind foot arthriti, ankle replacement, toe joint replacement for arthritic pain, achilles tendon, lateral ankle ligaments, peroneal, tendons, bunions, knee surgery and knee replacement.
