Polina Mamoshina | Deep Biomarkers of Human Aging
At Ending Age-Related Diseases 2020, Dr. Polina Mamoshina of Insilico Medicine gave a talk on the subject of biomarkers of human aging that are generated through deep learning algorithms. Deep learning, an advancement over older algorithms of artificial intelligence, has allowed for the useful collection of various data, including facial analysis, bone x-rays, blood markers, and brain MRIs. Individually, each of these biomarkers may be slightly inaccurate, but they are even more effective when combined, thus providing a useful analysis tool for human aging and ways in which it can be treated.
