Positions Like This Are What Risk Is All About

Risk: Global Domination on Spaceport Sigma, progressive cards and capitals.

This game produced one of those positions that every Caps player dreams about. Not because of a lucky spawn, but because the pieces gradually came together until I found myself controlling a massive section of the map through a two-point chokepoint, with both capitals protected and a kill guard securing the position.

These are the kinds of games that make Caps so satisfying. Building a position, strengthening it turn after turn, and eventually reaching a point where the entire lobby has to deal with the fact that you’ve become the dominant force on the board.

This is what Risk is all about.
