Viscri the oldest Saxon village in Transylvania, Romania

Viscri is one of the oldest villages in Brasov county and all of Transylvania, its beginning being lost in time, although the first mentioning appears in the 15th century. People in Viscri village still live from their farming and animal growing, although the development of tourism has introduced a new activity in the village.
Since 2002 Viscri village has also been included in the Routard guides in France and has made itself known more and more. Prince Charles of England himself, who owns a house in Viscri is a great supporter of sustainable architecture and is fascinated by it and strongly supported its rebirth.
