[Cycling Taiwan] She Rode 90km in the Rain, and Didn't Kill Me | Hualien to Taitung Day 2

Taiwan Cycling Trip | This is part 2 of our ride from Hualien (花蓮) to Taitung (台東) along the Taiwan East Coast. We rented these bikes from Giant and have used them for the last 4 days, cycling around Hualien, Taroko Gorge (Taiwan KOM course), etc.. Today, we're putting these fastroad touring bikes to the test through 90km of rain and headwinds. Luckily, our touring bags also came with some rain shells to protect from all of the water.

Needless to say, my wife wasn't happy about cycling in the rain, but surprisingly a few smiles cracked out along the ride and we made it safely to our destination.

After a couple days on the road and riding through a bunch of rain, nothing feels quite as good as a nice hot shower and putting on some clean clothes. Of course, getting some proper food is also pretty good, and we also went out for some delicious taiwanese food and dinner after our ride.
