The algorithmic governance of today is fruition of the 17th century idea that machines should take over making society's decisions. Binary code is the guiding logic of digital computers. It is the fundamental text that makes Algorithmic Governance possible. But it is a highly biased, reductionist philosophy of the universe and our human world made into electronic circuitry. Every decision by every computer is an expression of antiquated modernist values. And we have never been given the opportunity to choose otherwise.
