Millie (Alison Brie) and Tim (Dave Franco) are a long-term couple whose relationship is starting to crack — he resents her for holding back his music career, and she worries he’s going nowhere. After moving to the countryside for Millie’s new teaching job, the two stumble upon a mysterious cave and drink from a strange pool. The next morning, their bodies begin to fuse together in disturbing and hilarious ways, turning their emotional codependency into literal body horror. As they struggle to pull apart — using muscle relaxers, cutting themselves free, and resisting the pull — unsettling forces in the town suggest they may not be alone in their nightmare.
