Pet Sematary- Movie Review

In this video I take a look at the 1989 horror movie Pet Sematary in which is one of the best Stephen King book adaptations ever made. This movie stars the likes of: Dale Midkiff, Denise Crosby, Fred G Wynne, Brad Greenquist, Miko Hughes, Michael Lombard & Blaze Berdahl. In this video I take a look at what makes Pet Sematary good & what makes this horror classic bad.

I first talk about how this movie is one of the best Stephen King movies as it defines the definition of horror. As I mention how this movie doesn't use the modern day tactic of jump scares and choose to use the physical effects of the characters & the events that happen in the movie to create the horror & suspense that you create in any horror movie however this felt organically created rather than a cheap way like jump scares. I also mention how dark & disturbing this movie is compared to many of Stephen Kings other movies and I mention that it is blatantly obvious that in the first 30 mins with the events that happen within the movie.
