This week I share my experience keeping the Pterinopelma sazimai, known commonly as the Brazilian Blue Tarantula or the Iridescent Blue Tarantula. I discuss how I care for this species, what kind of enclosure and set ups I use, how often and how much to feed, their location, environment and all things care and husbandry related. I also cover my experiences with their temperament and and raising this species from a spiderling.
