4 Things to Remember about your new Rotary Blade for the Silhouette Cameo® 4

We have received some commonly asked questions with the new rotary blade for the Silhouette Cameo® 4. Here are four things to note about your new rotary blade.

1. Tighten the safety cap before using a brand new blade.
2. The rotary blade only works in carriage two of the Silhouette Cameo® 4 because of the special force required.
3. Set action to rotary cut and tool to rotary blade to enable Smart Cut on your design. The design should be blue and have smart cut markings. These lines are necessary to re-orient the blade so that your design cuts appropriately.
4. Clean the rotary blade periodically. After cutting felt and fabric for a few times, you might notice that you have a few fibers that get stuck within the blade. You can use your hook tool to remove any extra fibers.
