Kennedy Sr. subsequently made inquiries to the leaders of the Cuban Brigade, the CIA itself, and others, questioning if they were involved in JFK's assassination. Shattered by grief, the Kennedy family united in mourning at their home, marking the beginning of their collective period of loss.
