SS Atlantic Sinks in Real-Time - April 1st, 1873 - Nova Scotia

On April 1, 1873, the steamship Atlantic was lost on the rocks near Halifax, Nova Scotia. This disaster is almost completely forgotten today, even by locals. A small museum stands near the site, but it does not get the attention it deserves.

Also please check out my detailed documentary on the disaster here:

Special Thanks to the SS Atlantic Heritage Park and the Titanic Society of Atlantic Canada for helping make this.

I am the original producer of this film, which was first made in early 2018. I published it to the Titanic: Honor and Glory YouTube channel to promote the project, but now I'm moving it to my personal channel as it is more suited here.

A special thank you to Zsolt Bognar for "applauding" this video!
