Overtime, the Communist Party of China, in association with the People's Liberation Army, have developed an extensive range of Nuclear and Fusion based weapons since the first successful test of a Chinese made Weapon of Mass Destruction in 1964. It is estimated today that the PLA posses over 200 of these weapons along with a large arsenal of land-based intercontinental and medium range ballistic missiles.

"As the War Approaches", "当那天来临", is a Chinese People's Liberation Army Song performed by their military choir about the Korean War. It describes the nearing of hostile foreign forces through Korea to the Chinese border and acknowledges it as an act of war against the Chinese People.

The footage used has been taken from a 1966 PLA documentary concerning the development of nuclear weapons within China and the Documentary Film "50th National Day Parade".
