Cyndi Lauper – Time After Time (2004 Nobel Peace Concert)

Cyndi Lauper performs "Time After Time" at the 2004 Nobel Peace Concert with the celebrated American trumpeter Chris Botti.

In 2004 Cyndi Lauper sang at the ceremony honoring Wangarĩ Muta Maathai a Kenyan social, environmental, and political activist who founded the Green Belt Movement, an environmental non-governmental organization focused on the planting of trees, environmental conservation, and women's rights. In 2004 she became the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize.

The ceremony in her honor took place in Oslo, Norway and was hosted by Oprah Winfrey and Tom Cruise.
