Corsair Bay To Cass Bay | Lyttelton Coastal Walkway | January 2022

Arriving at Corsair Bay for a picnic we then checked out the Lyttelton Coastal Walkway - specifically the section between Corsair Bay and Cass Bay. Filmed on a Monday mid January in Christchurch, New Zealand, on a day when it's likely many people's first day back at work... Corsair Bay is VERY popular and in a weekend is jam packed normally!

The highlight for me however was the small beach, only accessible by the Coastal Walkway track halfway between Corsair Bay and Cass Bay - the one with only a couple and their dog there - almost unbelievable that on a hot summers day, with lovely warm water temps, that this couple and an entire beach (and a gorgeous one at that) all to themselves!

Filmed with an outgoing tide (about an hour before low tide).
Water temperature 18 degrees Celsius (64.5 Fahrenheit).
