Canada Icefields Parkway Road Trip (4K)

A road trip through Canada's beautiful Rocky Mountains and the national parks of Banff and Jasper via the Icefields Parkway in Spring.

Setting off from Calgary, we travelled to Banff Town to stay for the night before starting the road trip through the Rocky Mountains in our amazing rented Jeep SUV!

Day 1 included stops at Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, The Saskatchewan River Crossing, Columbia Icefield and Sunwapta Falls before arriving in Jasper Town.

Whilst visiting Jasper, we took a trip on the Jasper Sky Tram to take in the amazing views of the national park from the top of the Rocky Mountains.

After 2 days in Jasper, we returned along the Icefields Parkway, filming with a GoPro attached to the Jeep to see the sights of Athabasca Falls, Big Hill and Big Bend, The Weeping Wall and Bow Summit.

On the last day we visited Lake Louise Ski Resort, and ended our road trip staying in a traditional log cabin at Storm Mountain Lodge.

We even got to see the Northern Lights above Canada!
