1. Looking at Real Estate apps
- Before I started investing in the stock market I spend hours every day
- Looking at stocks and reading more about them
- It's okay to look at real estate even you cant invest in it just check ( better to understand a market, before going into blindly )
- I’m planning on moving to Fort Myers next year, and I’ve never been to Florida but I can tell you the best neighborhoods, best schools,s and the areas with the least amount of crime.

The apps: Just to look at real estate, estimate the value and also do some comps ( when you compare the value of a property based on the values of other properties that are similar in the aria)

Zillow:
- Which one of the best apps for looking at real estate, estimates on property values, and also getting a really good idea of the home is going to cost you ( and it's free to use )
- So here is a little tutorial on Zillow, looking for houses, using filters, and running quick comps

Facts on Zillow:
- The company that owns Zillow, also owns, street easy, realestate.com and Trulia
- Zillow makes money through advertising and buying property from users and reselling it for profit.
- So although Zillow is free to use, they made around 2.7 billion in revenues last year 2019

Redfin:
- Redfin is also a broker and instead of charging you the usual 2.5-3% they only charge you 1-1.5% ( but it's not that simple)
- Ontop some people believe that the algorithm redfin uses to estimate homes is a lot better than Zillow
- And because it's not all free, they do a better job at advertising homes and trying to find a buyer

Realtor:
- This has some cool features like telling you the noise levels, flood areas, and even crime in the area
- And it also been around since 1995, so a lot more time to get things right
- My suggestion is just using all 3, it doesn’t really matter, agents are going to list everywhere to get the most eyes on the homes.

2. Apps for Renting and Making money
- These apps are more advance in what they sell
- So you need to know what you're doing

Action.com
- Now this is for properties that are going into auction
- Basically, you might be responsible for tax leans and by buying a neglected property
- So its very important you understand the risk ( although you will get a good deal compared to the price, it could also be a bad deal)
- Cons: you might have to buy without an inspection, might have to evict the people inside, and also will need a lot of cash to buy ( so this is not something I'm looking at yet)

Free Apps:
- Check out bigger pockets to learn more about real estate
- U.S mortgage calculator

Not Free:
RentoMeter: it gives you some estimates of rents in the area
- You can check one listing, but they do cost money.
