Grants Opportunities | Creative Aging
Creative Aging is a growing field that connects the arts and social services around shared and overlapping goals. The creative aging field recognizes the many benefits when older adults engage in creative activities. Arts and culture programs support seniors’ well-being on multiple levels, from physical health to cognitive growth, social interaction, and more.
Within this SCAC webinar you will learn about opportunities that can support your existing arts and culture programs or spark ideas for future activities. We share an overview and some hands-on tips about accessing the South Carolina Arts Commission’s grant programs, eligibility requirements, grant application best practices, and the South Carolina Arts Directory—a listing of artists from around the state who are available to offer a variety of creative activities. You will find new resources and ideas, as well as contacts at the Arts Commission who are there to help you access these opportunities. A question & answer session follows the main presentation.
