Amupanda's presence causes havoc at SPYL meeting
A physical confrontation ensued on Saturday after former youth leader showed up at a SWAPO Party Youth League Central Committee meeting. Amupanda and three others were suspended from the party two years ago for their involvement in the Affirmative Repositioning Movement.
Last year a judgement was handed down by the high court but it still seems that both parties are unclear of whether Amupanda was reinstated in his former position or not.
The SWAPO party Youth League Secretary Veikko Nekundi says that the two men involved in the fight have since apologized and he will not take further steps against them.
