How to Build a Walk-In Closet Part 1

In this video, I will take you through how to build a walk-in closet from the demolition, to framing, to the flooring and ceiling. There is a little bit of everything in this tutorial. I will show you my method of for building a quick and easy non-load bearing wall in a basement, using a a combination of metal stud tracks and wooden 2x4s. You will also see some of my tricks for installing drywall when you are working alone and taping the seams. I will show you how I lay down tile and Install a suspended ceiling. In part 2, I will show you my design the custom built closet furniture, which includes shelving, drawers, and hanging space for both long and short articles of clothing.
