One person hospitalized after shooting involving Goodyear Police near Dysart and McDowell Roads

UPDATE: One person is dead after a shooting involving its officers in Avondale near Dysart and McDowell roads. Goodyear police say they responded to an initial call of an individual who had "flashed a handgun" at another person at a Dairy Queen over a mile away in Goodyear. The suspect then took off on foot until officers caught up with them. According to police, the suspect "flashed a handgun" again, and that is when the officer-involved shooting took place.
