Here we are - episode 7 of TradeTuesday Season 1. After the not-so-new 2019 Epiphone DC Pro was returned, I decided it would be best to just try to find something else with the ~$900 that I had left. One morning when I was reviewing craigslist, an unexpected ad showed up that made me really excited! A FIREBIRD X and for only $1200! Now most people wouldn't usually get excited about a Firebird X for any kind of money, but after my experience with my last one - I already knew how to work it and this new Red one actually works! I was able to haggle the owner down quite a bit because selling a Firebird X as local pickup, cash only, is nearly impossible. There aren't tons of people willing to shell out fair market value for these guitars, so you have to open them up to shipping to get the best price for your piece. Reverb puts these between $2100-$2800 when they are in clean shape and have all the needed accessories. This one fits the bill. I think this may be the 2nd to last episode of TradeTuesday.
