Edwin Chege is a Nairobi urbanite with a love and passion for his city. Edwin has also been active in the Africa International Affairs Centre, a student-focused think tank on Kenyan and African foreign policy matters. A lover of conversation, Edwin enjoys engaging on matters involving youth, culture, development and urbanization, maintaining the firm belief that everyone has a unique story to tell.
His talk will based on his experience as a former homophobic and how he transitioned into an open-minded, wholesome human being.

Edwin served as Team Coordinator for Vijana Amkeni, a youth led community based organization, and was pivotal in organizing its signature event, The Free Speech Series, which brought together youth from different Kenyan varsities to discuss matters of national importance
in Kenya.
Edwin has also been active in the Africa International Affairs Centre, a student-focused think tank on Kenyan and African foreign policy matters.
