Top Grower SECRET: 'Triple-D' (How to Achieve Max Potency and Terpenes.)

Here's a truly hot technique for all my growbros and growgals, that will help ANY cannabis grower get a better tasting crop. Don't forget to hit that thumbs up and subscribe for more tips and helpful growing vids.

Timing is everything when trying to capture peak aromas. Knowing this will improve the quality of your smoke. there are several things you can do to enhance the final potency of your crop. You may not know it, but terpenes and other cannabinoids develop during the darkness, and light degrades THC, which is what causes the heads on the trichomes to turn amber.

In today's video, I'm going to tell you how You can maximize your plants' genetics, and what you really need to know is that it's all about persistent stress during its final days before harvest.

This is a top grower strategy and a gelling of some concepts, rumor and research, and experimentation that I've been doing. I call this focused concept Triple-D, and "I can't stress this enough".
It all starts with knowing where your plants are in the flowering cycle, and how far away harvest "should" be.

Let's get into the meat of it. When your baby is in Week 7/8/9/10 - Check her trichomes. Are they ALL getting nice and cloudy?

White, cloudy is high, clear is way immature. Not too many amber yet? Some people say they like to get them around 20% amber.
I like it a little higher than that, like 25-30% for more couch lock effect.

Note that this takes watching your ladies every day, as they sometimes age quickly. Timing is EVERYTHING, don't yank 'em too soon, but don't let em got too dark either!

During the last week or 2 before harvest: Triple D - Defoliate, Dry, Darkness.

Count the days down with me.
IMAGINE It's the beginning of week 8 or 9, and you've noted that trichomes have reached ~10+%
7 - One week from harvest, a light watering. soil should be damp, not soaked.
6 - Defoliate all fan leaves with a petiole longer than 2 inches. More aggressive, 1 inch.
5-3 three days of normal 12 hr light til the lights go off at the end of that third day. then move to a dark area, no light for the next 48.

This procedure or technique causes the plants to stress, and signals that harvest time is drawing near. All they can do is use whatever they have in them to pump in more resin production (protection). This technique also pre-trims and makes the plants drier, which transitions nicely into drying.
