Home design is always a work in progress.

Hear from Dave Henrickson, a member of the design team here at Youngren Construction. He explains how, over the last 15 years of building Homes For Our Troops homes, the design of the houses themselves have adapted and changed.

Many of these changes come from speaking with the Veterans who have been living in the homes. Through the HFOT team, we sometimes ask a Veteran about the home after they have been living in it for a while. We invite them to share what worked best, what could be different, and if they have any suggestions for future builds.

The HFOT team takes these suggestions into consideration, because they truly want these homes to serve the Veterans at the highest possible capacity. They strive to continually update their building materials, methods and practices to ensure their homes are of the highest quality.

Every inch of these homes is thoughtfully and carefully planned and constructed, with the Veterans' safety and comfort top of mind.
