Just My Type (2020 Hallmark Movie) | The Story of Vanessa and Martin

"...the last thing you wanna do is wake up and realize you didn't do what you are destined to..."

Vanessa (played by Bethany Joy Lenz) is a pop culture writer for a magazine, while Martin (played by Brett Dalton) is a famous mystery writer who happens to be a recluse. By happy accident, Vanessa who is also a huge fan of Martin found out where he lives and decides to write a feature article about him. However, much to her surprise, Martin is extremely reluctant to cooperate.

This movie came at a time when we are constantly bombarded with news about the pandemics and everything around us seems so chaotic, but watching this movie brought joy to me and it is something we can also use to bring on some cheers to help us get through this tough time. It is light hearted, romantic and filled with lovely moments that will warm your heart. Bethany, of course, never fails to disappoint, this movie is no exception.
