I am a creative. Not a developer. I don't write code for a living. So when I walked into Ralphthon, an AI hackathon run by token maxxing and funded by OpenAI during AI Engineer Singapore... I had no idea what I was doing there.

The rule was simple: if you touch your laptop, you wear a lobster costume. Your AI agent codes. You just... direct it.

In one day, I built Cari, an autonomous agent that helps Singapore caregivers find every government grant and subsidy they qualify for, from a single plain-English message/voice chat. No jargon. No social worker required.

This video is about what it actually feels like to be a creative person in a room full of engineers. The impostor syndrome. The moments it clicks. The realisation that knowing how to think, write, and communicate a problem clearly is not a soft skill, it's the skill that makes AI agents work.

If you're an artist, designer, writer, or creative who has been watching the AI space from the outside thinking it's not for you, well, it may not ever be... but for me, I learned. :)
