Case continued for suspect in Albemarle teen's death

The man charged in connection with the death of 17-year-old Baylee Carver was expected to appear in court on Monday, but his case was continued, according to the Stanly County Clerk of Court's office.

Joshua Biles, 20, is charged with obstruction of justice and concealment of death related to the death of Carver, whose remains were found in Cabarrus County last week. Biles maintains he didn't kill the 17-year-old, but investigators said her wounds indicate an "unnatural death."

WCNC Charlotte is working to learn when the next court date will now be.
