The Mormon Church refused to help an abuse survivor, then paid her to destroy evidence (Livestream)

After telling a woman they wouldn't help her prosecute her assailant, a Mormon bishop who also happened to be her father, a lawyer for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints offered her $300,000 to destroy recordings of their meetings.

But someone else also recorded those meetings... and he shared them with reporters.
