Why I love the Sony ZV-E1 + Sony 20-70mm f/4 + Helix MagLock combo for travel?

1. It’s compact. 🤏 Both the ZV-E1 and the 20-70mm are very compact in size and weight compared to other cameras with similar capabilities. As a husband and father of 2, I try to pack as light as possible when it comes to gear as there are other things we need to take care of when traveling. I’m sure other dads can relate to this.

2. It’s versatile ☀🌥🌙 The ZV-E1 is a 12MP camera that has amazing 4k image quality and is also a beast in low light. When traveling, we also want to shoot videos at night and the dual native ISO is a huge help in dark situations especially in times that you don’t have much time setting up near good light sources. For the Sony 20-70mm, having the ability to go as wide as 20mm (compared to the more traditional 24mm) and go as tight as 70mm is such a big deal. We can comfortably vlog 🤳at 20mm and also have that compressed look at 70mm. All in one lens!

3. It’s quick! ⚡️The Helix MagLock system is such an innovation when it comes to filters. I’ve used a magnetic filter before, but the Helix MagLock system is the first system I’ve used that can lock the filter on to the base plate thus giving added security to my filters. I’ve had my previous filters fall of my lens before because of people nudging it, and I don’t see that happening with my Helix any time soon.
