In part 12 of this series of modding the original Xbox, I will guide you through Extracting the EEPROM on a motherboard that will not power on as well as an Xbox that has a bad hard drive. The EEPROM contains the hard drive key that is needed to lock a new hard drive to your Xbox as well as Unlock a hard drive from an Xbox motherboard that may never work again.
