Modes of Nutrition in Bacteria

Bacteria exhibit diverse modes of nutrition, classified into several categories:

*Autotrophic Nutrition*

1. Photoautotrophic: Using light energy (e.g., cyanobacteria).
2. Chemoautotrophic: Using chemical energy (e.g., sulfur-oxidizing bacteria).

*Heterotrophic Nutrition*
