Falcons raise family atop Evanston Public Library
A nest of three newly-hatched peregrine falcons are guarded Tuesday, May 5, 2010 by their mother, "Nona," and father, "Squawker," on their ledge at the top of the Evanston Public Library. The chicks began hatching Saturday morning. The third was hatched Monday, May 3, 2010, and there remains one egg.
