Finance ministry will give rejected non taxpayers a second chance at EIG

The Ministry of Finance has announced that it has received over 570 000 applications for the Emergency Income Grant, with 234 000 approved since the process commenced a week ago.
It also said that it is aware of concerns by those rejected, stating that it is working on modalities to ensure that no qualifying recipient is left out.
