Veterans Place lifting veterans from homeless population in Pittsburgh

Administrators for Veterans Place say more than 1,000 veterans have benefited from their services since 2023. It is a place in Pittsburgh's Larimer neighborhood that provides transitional housing for up to two years -- but within that timeframe, vets are provided meals, laundry facilities, a computer lab, personal growth focus, job placement, financial independence, and physical and mental wellness services.
