Driving Lyft is no Longer worth it in 2020.

I have given over 6,000 rides as a Lyft driver.

Driving Lyft used to be worth it. I would regularly make over $1,600 a week, driving a used car I bought for $7,000.

Over the last several years Lyft corporate has been gradually making changes that keep worsening conditions and decreasing wages for Lyft drivers.

Lyft driving has gotten so bad that I can no longer ethically recommend people drive Lyft.
I have stayed loyal to Lyft for over 6,000 rides because they had been good to me in the beginning and I thought they were a better, and morally superior company than the alternative, Uber.

But times have changed…

Lyft corporate has decided to stop paying Lyft drivers prime time, and they have made the power driver bonuses much harder to obtain.

This is why I am making the switch to driving Uber in 2020.

I will let you know how my honest evaluation of Uber driving in a future video.

The primary reason I am transitioning from driving Lyft to driving Uber is because Uber still pays their drivers prime time. This gig is simply not worth it if we are not making any prime time.
