Matrimony's Columbia Records full-length debut - Montibello Memories - just came out and it's folkin' fantastic. Get it? These North Carolina folk rockers are poised for stardom - heck - they'll probably be there by the time you finish reading this. Fronted by husband and wife Jimmy Brown and Ashlee Hardee Brown along with Ashlee's brothers Jordan and CJ Hardee, the band blend many genres together for a cohesive, unique sound. The band will be on tour all summer long, and will continue to build on their EP successes of the past. Hot off of those aforementioned EPs by the way, the band performed on NPR Mountain Stage, on Music City Roots, and had a Bob Dylan cover on the Carrie soundtrack. Before their show at Mercury Lounge in NYC, the band performed and sat down for a chat on A-Sides with Jon Chattman. It was rad. You are rad for watching. Let's all be rad together, and afterwards, let's stop using the word "rad" because it was played out in the 1980s and is again now. Boom.
