Uploaded Oct 3, 2011: This video describes a Microsoft Excel-based system for monitoring Real-Time Production Efficiencies. It's based on the concept of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) where quality, speed, and uptime data are used to calculate the overall efficiency. In addition to production efficiencies, the system also predicts changeover times and can incorporate operator logs for production notes, quality, scrap, and downtime.
