Food Storage: Rice, Sugar and Cereral in 2 Liter and Gallon Bottles

In this video we package rice, sugar and cereal using 2 liter soda bottles and a 1 gallon tea jug.We used a 300cc oxygen absorber in the 2 liter bottles and a 300cc in the gallon jug for the cereal. We did not use an oxygen absorber with the sugar. Please check your containers on a regular basis to ensure a good vacuum is holding with your items. The side of the container will be "pulled in" when the oxygen has been depleted in the container. Store at or below 75 degrees f and in a dark place.
