Research and Editing: Prof. Jehoash Hirshberg and Na'ama Ramot , Musical Director and Pianist: Sonya Mazar "Non Solo Verdi" is part of a research project of Italian operas composed and produced during the decade of unification of Italy, 1860-1870. This historically rich decade witnessed flourishing operatic activity, with more than 280 new operas, many of which mounted with great success but soon forgotten. The purpose of the project is to revive some of them, at that point in concert performance with piano using the 19th century original edition.
