Makar Mikhalkin is a rising star in the ballet world, notably winning the Gold Medal in the Junior Men’s category at the XIV Moscow International Ballet Competition in 2022. His performance of the "Slave Variation" (also known as the Ali variation) from the classical ballet Le Corsaire is one of his most celebrated displays of technical skill.
