I am finally watching through the "Wu-Tang American Saga" TV show and got to the part about when RZA was prince Rakeem and the original sample didn't clear for his single "I Love you Rakeem". I have heard the actual original version with the sample used, but I liked the version they did on the show better as it used the sample differently. But they only played a small portion of it in the episode and of course it had the actor and not RZA rapping over it. So I took the same sample and recreated what was played on the show and then just did my own thing with the rest, especially on the second verse where I flipped the sample very similar to how it was on the original release but I prefer letting it go a little longer. I extracted the verses from the sample release and put it all together to make this remix inspired by the tv show. I think it turned out pretty nice.
