In escalating tensions surrounding the ongoing farm protests, Haryana police have invoked the National Security Act (NSA) against the protest leaders. This development follows reported instances of stone pelting by protesters disrupting law and order. The epicentre of the reported violence is the Shambhu border in Ambala, Haryana where numerous injuries have been documented on both the protest and the police side. A staggering figure of thirty police personnel were reportedly injured and two have tragically lost their lives. Furthermore, there has also been a casualty reported among the protesters. Haryana police are accusing farm leaders of provoking the unrest and using social media as a tool for instigation.
