Previously, we saw in 'The Capital of Happiness' how the beloved Brazilian top entrepreneur Ricardo Semler focused on happiness and love in management and business. He built a world empire with the simple question, how are my employees really happy? Employees are nowadays well-informed and capable of recognizing and solving problems themselves or not in a group that is connected through networks and iPhone.
Nevertheless, we remain in fear of chaos in business and government and continue to appoint managers and intermediaries to alleviate the fears. In VPRO Backlight, non-conformist Ricardo Semler bends on these issues. How can we turn classical management into dogmas and pyramids? Semler makes a plea for the inside of the box thinking and living. From the place where he comes to his ideas, his own impressive estate on a mountain near Sao Paulo, he shows the viewer a new spectacular spectacle.
