First visitors experience the Space Needle's new floating glass benches

Seattle's iconic Space Needle has installed glass benches as part of their major renovation. The benches tip backwards, and visitors are suspended 520 ft in the air by only a thick sheet of glass, giving the feeling of floating high above the city, a feeling that made some of the first visitors a bit queasy.
