Reproducing a reproducer (How to make a reproducer for an antique phonograph)

How to make your own reproducer using commonly available and modern materials. In this video a reproducer is build for an antique phonograph because the original one seems to be missing. This really works, remarkably well actually.
The video focuses to the playback of the cylinder with the song "It's A Long Way To Tipperary".

A phonograph is the first machine that was capable of recording and reproducing sound. It was the invention that made Thomas Edison famous. Essentially all the magic happens thanks to a part called "the reproducer". Without that part a phonograph is useless. This video contains all the information how you could make your own reproducer.
Despite the video showing that you can make a perfectly working stylus out of a simple household drinking glass (which is made of regular/soda-lime glass) it would be much better to make a stylus out of borosillicate glass as this is much harder and would never need to be replaced as this type of glass doesn't wear as quickly as regular glass.
