Synchronous rectifier in a diode package
Today let's take a closer look at a very interesting component. A synchronous rectification diode DK5V45R20 (marked 45R20). It's a synchronous rectification device that contains a MOSFET transistor and an integrated control circuitry in a 2-terminal package that looks like an ordinary diode. I initially didn't realize what I'm looking at. I found it inside of this night light with a USB charger:
