Should Melbourne get a ferry network?
Melbourne used to have quite an extensive ferry system across the Yarra river and Port Phillip Bay. Most of it is gone now, but as the city keeps growing, is it time to bring it back?

Melbourne actually already has a very limited ferry network - operating a few niche routes like the Westgate punt. But as the city grows, and the need for public transportation becomes greater - could Melbourne use ferries to fill that gap?
In this video I look at Melbourne's existing ferry routes - and see what has made at least some of them successful. I also ask whether its worth expanding the network - to places like Mornington, Geelong, Sorento, Queensclifee and more.
