Monster Reign...or as they should be called Reign Total Body Fuel was created to compete with Bang Energy drink. Or was it created for another reason? Perhaps to not lose sales to Bang Energy Drink? Last year I did a video when Reign energy drink first came out, that was a product review of the energy drinks...but I also included additional information about the battle between these two companies and they do NOT like each other.

Bang Energy started preworkout market and then started to become more mainstream and enter the energy drink market. Once that happened, it meant less profits for other energy drinks companies such as Monster, Red Bull and Rockstar. Red Bull wasnt too worried, but Rockstars sales have been slowly decreasing the last few years. So, several years ago, Monster started filing petty lawsuits against Bang.

It wasnt until Monster created an entirely separate sister company called Reign Energy, that VPX (the makers of Bang) decided it was time to start filing some law suits of their own. The first and most obvious one was that the Reign cans looked extremely similar to the Bang cans. From there, one lawsuit was filed after another between these two energy drinks powerhouses.

Reign energy drinks also came out with flavors that were very similar to Bang energy flavors just to show they could make the same products as Bang but potentially even better. As Reign began to grow in popularity, everyone needed to know how does Monster Reign compare to Bang energy drinks? And sales continue to increase, just out of curiosity.

Nobody can deny that Bang is the originator of the preworkout drink, but being the originator, and the best in the business, is going to draw the attention of others and it was only a matter of time before Monster decided they wanted in on the action. So, they created Reign Energ y Drink.
